Grounded Works is considered a second home for, creator, Hunter Allen. This is where his long time love for leather goods is displayed, first hand, for you to see. Grounded is a “brick and mortar” location that is nestled in the historic, Blowing Rock, North Carolina. When you arrive, the shop will display a variety of everyday carry (EDC) items such as wallets, purses, apparel and more.

Hunter began to envision the idea of his, now full time job, back when he was a senior in college. It started as a “Capstone Project” for his final semester of Industrial Design at Appalachian State. This passion project of his quickly became a fixation to handcraft quality leather goods. The name “Grounded” means to be well balanced and sensible. This idea is something that Hunter assures to apply to all of his fine craftsmanship.
